ARC plans for Red Carpet Gala

The Adult Reading Center is making plans to show the Pearland community a great time at their Red Carpet Gala on Oct. 5 at Hilton Garden Inn.  The evening will include dancing to the tunes of Modulation Band, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and professional dealers running Black Jack, Craps, Roulette and Wheel of Fortune tables.

Attendees receive two drink tickets, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, one chance to win an ipad mini, Asus tablet, one week’s stay in Branson, Missouri, 32” HDTV and more prizes plus $12,000 in casino chips with the purchase of a ticket.  Chris Stipes, FOX 26 News Anchor, will serve as Master of Ceremonies and proceeds from this event will help fund the Adult Reading Center’s free adult English literacy, GED, citizenship, computer literacy, and workforce development programs.  Tickets are $75 per person and sponsorship opportunities are available.  For more information, please call 281.485.1000.
