Community Education to offer piano and guitar lessons

In Lifestyle by Reporter News

Your former piano teacher might not approve, but thousands have learned the secret of how to play piano without reading music. If you’ve ever wondered how it’s done, mark October 10, 6:30-9:30PM on your calendar. That’s when the Friendswood Community Education brings in Alan Richards to teach the nationally renowned “How To Play Piano in Three Hours” workshop.

Richards’s approach reveals how the pros play. He has extensive experience as a professional pianist and instructor. Having taught piano privately for many years, Richards will share piano players’ tricks of the trade. For over 22 years this workshop has brought seldom taught and highly sought after information to more than 200,000 nationwide.

And if you have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but are never able to fine the time for lessons you will want to mark down October 8, 6:30 to 9 pm on your calendar. That’s when Alan Richards  to teach his very popular class, Just ONCE Guitar for Busy People.

This one-time, 2 and a half  hour class will teach you the basics about playing chords on the guitar so that you can start having fun right away playing your favorite songs.  We asked Richards how the idea for this class originated and found out that a very similar class for learning the piano  has been taught nationally for 30 years.  “Over 250,000 students have attended the “Instant Piano” class with great results. The same principles apply to the guitar.
