Dawson is 14-7 overall on the season and 1-1 in district action and are the defending 24-4A champions from a year ago.

Dawson is led by Jr. Jordan Lewis who is scoring at a 16.7 clip followed by Sr. Trey Sumpter (16.3), Soph. Paul Taulton (16.2), Jr. C.J. Simmons (13.2), Sr. Nick Bennett (12.7), and Sr. Eddie Stoneham (10.2).

The Eagles play an aggressive, fast-paced scoring offense while using a high-pressure defense to cause turnovers.

Dawson lost a heart-breaker to Texas City 83-82 to begin league play, but rebounded with a solid effort in a 58-42 win over Goose Creek Memorial.
