Pearland is 18-5 overall on the season and 4-0 in district action.

As a team, Pearland is averaging 56.2 points per game while shooting 40 percent. The Oilers average per game 28.6 rebounds, 13.2 assists, 15.1 steals, and 5.6 blocks.

To date, Sr. Keara Hudnall leads the Lady Oilers in scoring with 16.6 points per game followed by Jr. Jasmine Butler (9.4), Sr. Laneerta Guillory (8.9), Sr. Miranda LeJune (6.4), Sr. Taylor James (4.8), and Soph. Alyssa Denham (4.0).

Pearland lost their district opener to No. 2 state-ranked Manvel 74-42 but have since run off four straight district wins over Dobie (65-24), Pasadena (86-36), Sam Rayburn (62-14) and Alvin (78-23).

The Lady Oilers also defended their title when they won the Baytown Lee Tournament for the second year in a row with victories over Clear Brook (59-51), The Woodlands (60-53), Kingwood (54-51), and Clear Falls (54-51) in the championship game.
