Margaret Mary Wawrzaszek Sabin, 84, of Friendswood, TX went to the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

She was born October 17, 1929 in Auburn, New York; she attended Holy Family High School and graduated from the Auburn City Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. Marge, who would remind her friends that only her husband called her Margaret, lived out a life of service to her nursing profession, providing care for over 50 years.

Marge married the love of her life, John Sabin, on February 16, 1952. They settled in Binghamton, New York to raise their 6 children prior to moving to Houston, Texas in 1980. Marge will be especially remembered for her dedication to her family, her sweet disposition and her “one-of-a-kind” witticisms.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Marge is survived by her Uncle, John Niemiec, of Auburn, New York; her children and their families, Guy and Sue Sabin and their sons, Zach and Alex, of De Pere Wisconsin; Mark Sabin, of Nassau Bay, Texas; Kevin and Cindy Sabin and their children, Maddie, Nick and Gaby, of Savage, Minnesota; Teri and Lee Oliver and their children Christina, Andrew John and Sarah, of Pasadena, Texas; Keith and Debbie Sabin and their five children, Jacquelin, Sara, Maxwell, Harrison and Shae, of League City, Texas; and Karen Sabin, of Pasadena, Texas.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200 with the Knights of Columbus #8494 officiating.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 with Rev. Jim Kuczynski, M.S. officiating. Entombment will follow at the South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX. A reception will be held at Debbie and Keith’s home following the burial.

In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests memorial donations be made to Knights of Columbus, #8494, c/o Steve Harrison, 4889 W. Main St., League City, TX 77573.
