Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau presents check to Pearland Arts League

The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) presents the Pearland Arts League with a $1,000 donation from the inaugural Pearland Art and Crafts on the Pavilion event proceeds.

“We are pleased to recognize the Pearland Arts League for their dedication and commitment to supporting the arts in Pearland,” said Kim Sinistore, executive director, PCVB. “The inaugural Pearland Art and Crafts on the Pavilion event held in October celebrated art with a showcase of artist booths, local performances and a special exhibit produced by the Pearland Arts League.” added Sinistore.

“Our goal is to make the arts more widely available to the public in a variety of venues,” according to Margo Green, exhibition chairman of the Pearland Arts League. Naomi Stevens, chairman of the Pearland Arts League added, “We were thrilled at the idea to produce a special exhibit and participate in such an exciting, new event.”

The Pearland Art and Crafts on the Pavilion event produced by the PCVB made its debut in October 2014 drawing more than 1,700 visitors to the City over the weekend. Plans are underway for the October 2015 edition which will include many, new exciting features.
