The formation of the Lower Brazos River Coalition will be the topic of the Jan. 29 meeting of the Alliance, an economic development organization serving Brazoria County.
Ivan Landford, general manger of the Gulf Coast Water Authority, will serve as the featured speaker at the event, which takes place at 11 a.m. at Central Brazoria County Business Park, 4005 Technology Dr. Angleton.
The Texas City-based Gulf Coast Water Authority provides water for industry, agriculture and municipalities in Brazoria, Fort Bend and Galveston counties.
In addition, economist Donald Payne Jr. will present an update on the outlook for Brazoria County.
