Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) and the Brazoria County Master Gardeners are pleased to announce a change in venue for the monthly Garden Lecture Series (second Thursday of every month). In a new partnership with the City of Pearland, KPB will move the Garden Lecture to the Pearland Recreation Center Multipurpose Room (4141 Bailey Rd., Pearland Texas 77584).

The next free lecture in their garden series is on February 12, at 7:00 p.m. at the Recreation Center. Are you curious about how to start your spring garden? Then you need to attend our next garden lecture “Spring Gardening” from presenter Herman Auer.

Presenter Herman Auer became a Galveston County Master Gardener in 1983. Mr.Auer has been honored as Texas Master Gardener of the Year for the past two years. His gardening knowledge of over thirty years spans many horticultural areas with particular expertise in vegetable gardening; the successful growing of citrus, peach and pecan trees; and methods of grafting & propagation for plants and trees.

Attendees are encouraged to come early and learn more about KPB and Brazoria County Master Gardeners. There will be door prizes and KPB will provide dessert and coffee for all attendees. For more information about this and other KPB events, visit the KPB website, www.mykpb.org.
