FHS received the following nominations for the 2015 production of Mary Poppins:
Best Musical
Best Direction

Best Ensemble/Chorus
Best Leading Actress: Audrey McKee as Mary Poppins
Best Supporting Actress (2 nominations): Jana Landers as Mrs. Banks and Anne Balderrama as Jane Banks

Co-hosts for this year’s awards ceremony include Deborah Duncan and Jim Bernhard. Duncan is the host of KHOU’s Great Day Houston morning show. Bernhard has written several original productions that have debuted at TUTS and authored the organization’s theatrical history, Stars In Your Eyes.

“We are very excited about our nominations. Our students performed fantastic shows each night of Mary Poppins in February to sold-out crowds,” Director Kathy Powdrell said. “We are delighted with the nominations. We look forward to the award night.”
