AISD Class of 2015 top 20 students announced

Yesterday the Alvin ISD Education Foundation stopped by Alvin High School, Manvel High School and ASSETS Academy to recognize the top 20 students of the class of 2015 at each campus.

Dr. Johnny Briseno, principal of Alvin High School, along with his counseling staff, released the names of the top twenty students in the Class of 2015. Valedictorian for the Alvin High School class of 2015 is Niha Khan, while Suzanne Zeller holds the honor of salutatorian. The following students filled the remainder of the top twenty spaces for the campus in order from three to twenty: Katie Nelson, Brianna Diaz, Abigail Armesto, Tommy Tran, Grant Klein, James Freitag, Mary Hoffmann, Kelsey Flores, Muhammed Khan, Savannah Lee, Andrea Toledo Castillo, Kelsey Purcell, Conner Hansen, Ashley Lawhorn, Chelsea Sanchez, Mauricio Exiga, Mattalin Vojacek, and Lumina Tonu.

During a separate meeting, Charlotte Liptack, principal of Manvel High School, along with her counseling staff announced that the following students are the top twenty students in the class of 2015 at Manvel High School: Valedictorian is Quang Duong, salutatorian is Patricia Thai, while Scott Rohren, Yssra Hamid, Lucas Harvill, Sheryl Soundar, Laura Rybicki, Roderick Mullen, Gabriel Viernes, Jennifer Nguyen, Robin San Miguel, Elizabeth Roudbari, Adrian Mihalcea, Nikhita Korampally, Jenny Lee Quach, Isa Arce, Joshua Ryncarz, Brandon Manibo, Karla Leyja and Brittany Warneke make up the remaining top twenty students.

ASSETS Academy top two students were announced by Principal Tracy Hummel. Lauren Rangel is the 2015 valedictorian, while Jala Elmore is the salutatorian for the campus.

The Alvin ISD Education Foundation will honor the above listed students at the annual Celebration of Academic Excellence, which is set for Tuesday, May 19 at Victory Camp in Alvin, located across from Living Stones Church.
