Summer fun at the Manvel Library

Manvel Library’s Summer Reading Club will be wrapping up with these upcoming events:

– Bedtime Stories, July 7, 7 p.m.: Wear your p.j.’s, eat snacks and listen to bedtime stories.

– Insects!, July 9, 2 p.m.: The Houston Museum of Natural Science will bring insects for a fun and educational program.

– Rope Making, July 16, 2 p.m.: The Brazoria County Historical Museum will teach us how to make rope.

– DIY Superhero Tote Bag, July 18, 11:30 a.m.: Make your very own superhero tote bag. Materials provided.

– Bubble Prints Craft, July 21, 3 p.m.: Ages 6 and up.

– Chickadoo Sue and Her Chickens, July 23, 2 p.m.: Pet and hold chickens while you learn all about them.

– End of Summer Bash, July 30, 2 p.m.: End of summer party with food, fun and games.
