Robert Lee Giesecke, 83, of Alvin, TX passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015.  He was born July 7, 1932 to Eugene S. Giesecke and Ethel Tyler Giesecke in Angleton, TX.

During his thirty plus years of work at NASA, he was proud to have helped land a man on the moon, and was a first-hand witness of the earliest manned space flights all the way to the space shuttle.
A dedicated family man, in his later years he enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up and loved attending their activities, from ballet to baseball. He also loved to spend time at the family ranch with his son Rob.
