His most recent venture, The Garage Bar and Grill in Alvin, Texas, further attests his love of classic cars, but most importantly being among people.
Dale loved attending Texans football games, renovating classic cars, and sponsoring teams and organizations including BBQ cook-off teams, Little League sports teams, agricultural programs, and benefits for families. He was also a dedicated public servant. Dale held position 5 on Friendswood City Council from 1978 to 1980, and then served as Mayor from 1980 to 1982.
