Matthew Anderson “Andy” Talbert, 50, was born in Houston, TX on July 13, 1965 to James and Joy Talbert.  He entered into eternal rest Sept 23, 2015.  He grew up in Dickinson, TX and graduated from Dickinson High School.  He then attended and graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake.  Andy was a member of the Friendswood United Methodist Church. He had also been elected to the American Society of Safety Engineers.   Andy never met a stranger and was a friend to all!
 
He was preceded in death by his brother Jamie Talbert.
 
Andy is survived by his son Harrison, parents Jim and Joy Talbert, sister-in-law Gina Talbert and her two, children Westin and Brooke; cousins, Brenda Melton, Randy Miller and Cheryl Miller Montalvo and their children; and many other relatives and cherished friends.
 
Pallbearers will include Westin Talbert, Will Melton, Randy Miller, Bradley Miller, Sam Wigginton, and Max McGee. Honorary Pallbearers will include Jay Muske , Tommy Scales, and Doctor Howard Boland.
 
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10 A.M. with the Funeral service to follow at 11 A.M. at Friendswood United Methodist Church, 110 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX with Rev. Rosemary Dubois officiating with a reception following in the Wesley Hall. Burial will follow at Forest Park East cemetery in Webster, TX at 2:00 P.M. 
 
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of Andy Talbert to Friendswood UMC Food Bank or charity of your choice.
