Hosea Henderson was born August 7, 1948 and passed away peacefully in his home September 28, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Hosea & Dorothy and siblings Cecil and Elnita. Hosea was blessed to live a good life with the support of his wonderful wife and his boys.  He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne, son Trey and wife Judy, son Herschel and wife Reagan and son Eric. He bids farewell to his surviving siblings Bennie, Lois, two adopted brothers and other family members. To his aunt Rozelia, cousin Doni and best friend Melvin Horton of 40+ years; he always said you were the “rock” in his life.
Hosea attended Prairie View A&M University for both undergraduate and graduate school.  He was a member of the United States Air Force 308th Strategic Wing and the 147th Fighter Wing. After receiving an honorable discharge, he started his professional career with Brown & Root. Phil Lewis then took him on as a partner in which they enjoyed success operating several companies.  He retired at a young age of 55 and spent time developing his real-estate properties and spending time with loved ones.  He was surrounded with countless caring friends both professionally and socially.  His classic car friends, whom he enjoyed traveling and showing their classic vehicles, along with his traveling group of longtime friends “The Honeymooners.”  Hosea also had some really fun times playing dominos & bid whiz with his buddies at his shop.
