Marvin Ray Wisley, 86, of Pearland, TX passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016.  He was born November 18, 1929 to Whitt and Alda Wisley in Damon, TX.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Louise; his parents; his brother Wayne Wisley, and his sister Natalie Wisley Jourdan.  Marvin is survived by two children, Gene and Kathy Wisley of San Antonio and Janice Wisley Bradley and George Hawk of Pearland; three grandchildren, Frank and Shannon Wisley Foster, Kelley Wisley and Michael Bradley; and two great-grandchildren, Katlin and Caroline Foster; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many other relatives and cherished friends.
Marvin’s honorary grandchildren included, John Henry Bass and his family, Emily Bass, and Jerry and Katie Bass Bradshaw, Janelle McKendree Hart and her family, James McKendree and Jordan Roos , Jason Parker, Christie Miller Cates ,  and Jamie Parker.
The pallbearers are Michael Bradley, John G. Bass, John Henry Bass, Jim McKendree, James McKendree, and Ricky Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Duty, Larry Stavinoha, Don Smith, Harold Gaddy, and E. R. Milstead.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Parlor, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200.
The funeral service was held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating.  Interment followed at the South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX.
