Charles Frederick Welch, 66, of Friendswood, TX, formerly of Houston TX, passed away Sunday, July 24 2016. He was born June 2, 1950 to George Welch, Sr. and Lucille Polasek Welch in Houston, TX.
Native of Houston, TX, Charles was a hard and conscientious worker, and was kind to all who knew him. He was a previous member of the First Christian Church when growing up. Charles will be remembered as a gentle person and accepting his fate all his life with graciousness and humility. Fortunately he was able to travel the world with his mother on vacations. He could talk to anyone he met with sincerity and complete honesty. He also complained very little about his conditions or any suffering he endured in the latter parts of his life; yet he made everyone feel most comfortable when they were around him. He was an inspiration to his family. Of course he will be missed, but he is now at peace in Heaven with his Mother, Father, and other relatives.
Charles is survived by his brother, George (Buddy) Welch and sister, Barbara Ann Welch Biehunko; nephews and niece, Michael Eastridge, and Trey, Truley, and Trevor Welch, and many other relatives and cherished friends.
