Sponsors and booth reservations are being taken for the annual Home for the Holidays 8th Annual Santa in the Park Christmas Celebration set for Dec. 10.
The annual event takes place in Stevenson Park and is sponsored by the Friendswood Parks and Recreation Department through its Keep Friendswood Beautiful program and the City of Friendswood.
Attendance is high for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, carnival rides, Concert in the Park and the annual Holiday Market. The city’s 20-foot tall decorated Christmas tree is lit followed by a holiday fireworks show in the evening of that day.
HomeTown Bank of Friendswood, the title sponsor, will light the tree.
“This year’s Santa in the Park promises to be the most spectacular event of the year bringing in thousands in attendance; we want to offer your business the opportunity to get involved,” Parks and Rec Assistant to Director Kimberly Ramirez said.
There are many ways to partner with Santa in the Park to promote a business, from simply donating products to sponsoring a special event.
Sponsorships are available in the following categories: Winter Wonderland Sponsors/Name recognition for Snow Slide – $5,000; Rudolph Sponsors/Name recognition for Carnival – $5,000; Fireworks Sponsor/Name recognition for Fireworks Show for Tree Lighting – $3,000; and Jingle Bell Rock Stage/Name recognition for the Stage and the Gazebo – $1,000.
