The University of Houston Clear Lake’s Pearland Campus is having an open house for the community to share their theme “Stay Close. Go Far” on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Tours of the campus will be given to community members who visit along with meeting faculty members and advisers. Potential students will be able to plan their academic journey with enrollment counselors assisting.
The usual $45 admissions fee will be waived for prospective students who apply on-site at the event as well as on-the-spot admissions decisions for certain programs. Information about financial aid and scholarships will be offered also.
For more information or to register for UHCL’s Pearland Open House can be accomplished at www.uhcl.edu/pearlandopen or by calling 281-283-2515.

A nationally accredited, upper-level university, UHCL partnered with the City of Pearland to bring career-building higher education to the Pearland community. Through UHCL Pearland Campus, area residents have access to academics and professionally active faculty.
Students can complete junior, senior and graduate courses in high-demand disciplines such as business, education and psychology. As the off-campus instructional facility grows, so will its program offerings.
UHCL Pearland Campus shares the 30,659-square-foot facility with Pearland Economic Development Corporation. The university’s space includes classrooms, a library, a student lounge, teaching labs, offices and a faculty suite.
The neighborhood campus is active in the Pearland Chamber of Commerce as a Platinum Investor.
