Heritage Gardeners are celebrating their 50th annual Christmas Home Tour on Nov. 19-20 with this year’s event, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Tickets are now on sale.
The anniversary tour will offer six Friendswood area homes smartly decorated for Christmas. Tickets have maps on one side providing directions to each home. This year featured homes will be in The Forest of Friendswood, West Ranch, Quaker Townhomes, Century Oaks and Falcon Ridge II.
“We have given a weather forecast of snow on the tour. Come see it happen in Friendswood,” Club President Lydia Abuisi said.
The tour will begin at The Marie Workman Garden Center and Briscoe Gardens at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood. A variety of items will be for sale including baked goods wrapped for gift giving, tickets for raffle baskets and refreshments in the Tearoom.
Craft vendors with unique garden art and other items will be found around the Briscoe gardens and inside.
The Holiday Tearoom will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on both days.
The Christmas Home Tour runs from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. The tickets are good for both days.
The Bake Sale and Bazaar will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The raffle drawing will be Nov. 20 at 5:30 p.m. Raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
