Norma Jean Taylor Anderson, 80, of League City, TX passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in League City, TX. She was born May 31, 1936 to Marvin Taylor and Mabel Morrison Taylor in Houston, TX. She grew up on the southeast side of Houston and graduated from Milby High School. After graduating she married Richard Walker and began her career at Exxon. During her forty year tenure, she worked in many areas of the company as a secretary. When she retired, she was part of the Annuatant Affairs Department working with many of the retirees.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and sister in law.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Anderson; sister, Pat Touchette; son Mike Walker and wife Kim; daughter, Dixie Smith and husband Steve; 4 grandchildren, Kristen Adams, Brian Walker, Shannon Walker and Morgan York; 2 great-grandchildren, Daphne Adams and Hartlee York; numerous nieces and one nephew; and many other relatives and cherished friends.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546.

The funeral service was held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating. Interment followed at the Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.

Pallbearers will include Ken Appelt, Greg Piegari, Jeff Enocksen, Jimmy Wedder, John Meade and Ted Brach.
