The 32nd Annual Alvin Christmas Tour of Homes will be held from 1-5 pm December 4, 2016.

Five sites will be part of this year’s holiday tour.

Three private homes decorated for the season will be on the tour.

The Hurst Home at 1612 W. Hwy 6, the Wilson Home at 616 W. Adoue, and the Cain Home at 6969 CR 171 will be featured.

For added fun, the Alvin Historical Museum will be part of the tour. The museum features the holiday temporary exhibit, Adventure…All Aboard featuring model trains. The exhibit is run by the Houston “S” Gaugers group of model train enthusiasts. The museum is located at 302 W. Sealy in Alvin.

On Sunday, Dec. 4 during the tour, all children will be able to go to the museum exhibit from 1-5 pm and participate in an ornament-making event.

A craft and bake sale will be held at the Alvin Train Depot where the Keep Alvin Beautiful group will host an open house. The depot, built in 1907, is located at 121 E. Willis.

Advance tickets for $8 will be available through Dec. 3 from the Alvin Chamber of Commerce, DaVinci Salon, Helen’s Flowers, or Delta Delta members.

Proceeds will benefit the County Women’s Center, Delta Delta Scholarship and Leadership Funds, and Alvin Family Community Center.
