Pearland Police will take on the Pasadena Police Department in the 24th annual Toys for Tots Basketball Game, set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Turner High.

Admission to the annual Battle of the Badges game is one new, unwrapped toy per person. Run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Toys for Tots is a program that distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for the holidays. Gifts are distributed within the communities in which they are collected.
