The annual Friendswood High School Science Fair is set for Jan. 18 from 8 to 11 a.m.

The Science Department is accepting volunteers for science fair judges from the community.

Those interested are asked to determine which preferred science areas they feel most able in which to judge and the Science Department will try to place them as judges in those areas.

Areas of interest include Behavorial, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Space Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Math, Medicine-Health, Microbiology, and Physics.

Forms for volunteer judges to complete can be found at https://goo.gl/forms/x87BOsd0SCs5MsvE2.

“We had another very successful season last year in part due to our science fair judges. Two of our students advanced to the Texas State Science and Engineering Fair and all students benefited from participation in the science fair process,” Science Specialist and Team Leader Arden Zimmerman said.
