Pearland High School’s production of the Tony Award-winning musical “Pippin” highlights the quest of its main character to lead an extraordinary life.

The show runs Jan. 19-21 and Jan. 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. in the PHS auditorium (3775 S. Main).

The musical uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, led by a Leading Player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance.

While the Players strive to steer Pippin towards the perfect, theatrically tragic end of his story, Pippin begins to discover what it truly means to be extraordinary in our world.

This jubilant show with its uplifting story, soaring music, Fosse-esque choreography, magic and acrobatics is an extravaganza sure to thrill, deliver plenty of laughs and touch the heart.

Tickets are $15 for reserved seating, $12 for general admission.
