Brazoria County Science Fair for pre-k through eighth grade students will be held Feb. 17-18 at the Fairgrounds Auditorium. Feb. 1 is the deadline to register.

Brazoria County Science Fair for pre-k through eighth grade students will be held Feb. 17-18 at the Fairgrounds Auditorium. Feb. 1 is the deadline to register.

The 2017 Brazoria County Science Fair is coming Feb. 17-18 and will be held at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds Auditorium. Young scientists is grades Pre-k through sixth grade for Elementary division and seventh and eighth grades for Junior High divisions are invited to participate.

Both individual and team projects are accepted. An awards ceremony will be at the end of the fair.

In the Elementary division, categories include physical sciences, earth sciences, and life sciences.

In the junior high division, categories include botany, behavioral/social sciences, biochemistry/microbiology, chemistry, computers, Earth/space sciences, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, medicine/health, physics and zoology.

Students can download Brazoria County Science Fair Information at http://www.brazoriacountyfair.com/events/2017/.

Students can complete and submit project registration forms to the Brazoria Fair Office.

Deadline for Registration is Feb. 1.

The Fairgrounds Auditorium is located at 901 S. Downing Road in Angleton.

The Brazoria County Fair Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities and scholarships to the youth of Brazoria County.
