Mary Poppins, the magical nanny, will float onto the Dawson High School stage with her whimsical charm.

The show runs Jan. 26-28 and Feb. 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. in the DHS auditorium (2050 Cullen Blvd.).

Based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the beloved Walt Disney film, children Jane and Michael embark on a series of adventures with Mary and a carefree chimney sweep, who prove to the misbehaving children and their pre-occupied parents that it’s the little things that keep a family together.

The song-filled show features all-time hits like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Chim Chim Cher-ee.”

This enchanting musical reminds us to cherish the child that lives within all of us regardless of age.

Tickets are $12 for premium seating, $10 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens.
