Wanda May Skinner

Wanda May Skinner, died February 18, 2017, in Webster, Texas. Wanda was born April 23, 1939 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to James Alvin Williams and Lois Allen Williams. She later moved to and graduated high school in Merced, California.

She married Jesse F. Skinner in 1959. They lived in several places throughout the United States eventually moving to Santa Fe, Texas in 1979 and settling in Alvin, Texas in 1981.

Wanda was a legal secretary in the office of Attorneys Jim Wigginton and Garth Woods for more than 20 years.

She is survived by her sons, Jon Mark Skinner (Alvin), Getty Skinner (Jacksonville, Florida), daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Jo and Mitch Heiserman (Alvin), daughter-in-law turned daughter, Paula K. Skinner (Oregon), a nephew, Bill Lamb (Alvin), a brother, James Allen Williams (Merced, California), 12 grandchildren, Jesse F.B. Skinner (California), Heidi M. Kiser (Oregon), Adam E. Skinner (Oregon), Joseph W. Hubbard, Joshua W. Hubbard, Jacob W. Hubbard and Jared W. Hubbard (all of Heavener, Oklahoma), Stephanie R. Wilson, Brittany L. Skinner, Nicholas G. Heiserman, E. Alexander Heiserman, and Zachary L. Heiserman (all of Alvin, Texas); 17 great-grandchildren, Tanner and Natalie Kiser, Dylan and Taylor Skinner, Bryce, Trystan and Alyssa Skinner, Makinzie, Grace and Lilly Erwin, Jodie Hubbard, Kaylee Eastland, Katherine Gonzalez, Cheyanne Skinner, Jesse and Ally Hubbard, and Luke Scott Dukes-Heiserman, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Lois Ann Skinner-Hubbard, a great-granddaughter, Samantha Gonzalez, her daughter-in-law, Marla K. Skinner, and her son-in-law, Phillip Hubbard.

In honor of Wanda’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
