It appears our Winter has decided to take a break and invite Spring to come early. Many exciting happenings are finding our beloved city.

The Hearts and Heels style show on Feb. 16 at Memorial Hermann Hospital with clothes furnished by Macy’s was a tremendous success. I was chosen to be one of the models. It centered on educating our community about women’s heart health. Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year more than all cancers involved.

Congratulations to Cub Scout Pack 483 and their blue and gold banquet on Feb. 18 at Sacred Heart Church. This is a very active pack consisting of over 60 young boys and a fantastic group of leaders who give of their time and talent to guide these boys into aspiring leaders of our society.
