I am Sally Branson, and I’m running for Friendswood City Council Position 2 and would very much appreciate your vote this coming May.

As a long-time Friendswood resident and graduate of Friendswood High School, my roots go very deep in this community. With a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin as my background, I have built my own business, Raymond James Financial Services, in downtown Friendswood.

I believe in giving back to our community and currently serve on the Friendswood Education Foundation Executive Board, Friendswood Historical Society Board, Galveston County Historical Commission, Friendswood Rotary Club and Friends of Downtown Friendswood Association as Vice President.
My city government experience was serving on the Friendswood Planning & Zoning Commission from July 2014 to March 2017.

My goal is to effect thoughtful growth of our city while maintaining the quality of life we all love and enjoy in Friendswood. In addition, I will work to sustain safety and affordability while continuing our beautification efforts. Shaping Friendswood’s future without losing sight of our past is my continuing vision.

My long-term knowledge and involvement in this community, along with my strong financial background qualifies me to be your next Councilmember. Having the standard of frugality from my parents and the experience of helping others grow their investments, prepares me to serve on council as a fiduciary of your tax dollars. What sets me apart from others is my love of this community and what Friendswood Stands for; A place of friendly people.

Please go to my website to learn additional information or to contact me.

I am dedicated to serving you on City Council and ask for your support during early voting, beginning April 24 or on Election Day, May 6.
