Chamber asking artists work for seasonal, thematic displays

Photographs, drawings and paintings are needed for displays in the Pearland Chamber of Commerce at The Commerce Center.

Art displays will be scheduled according to the season and themes throughout the year.

The art will be on display for a three month period. The person submitting the artwork must be the artist of the work. Artists must email a minimum of three photo examples of their work.

Eligibility includes both amateur and professional artists from the ages of 16 and up. All artists under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian signature.

Violence, vulgarity, and nudity are prohibited.

Maximum size of art the Chamber can display is 40” x 50” with frame included.

Artists whose work is chosen to display will be able to provide contact information with their work for the opportunity to sell it if desired.

“The art will be viewed by hundreds of people,” Esqueda said.

The Chamber is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Commerce Center is located at 6117 Broadway St. in Pearland.
