Two days of great music are coming to Alvin at the Alvin Music Festival and BBQ Cook-Off April 7-8 at Briscoe Park on Hwy 35.
The annual event also provides children’s activities, food vendors, and a beer garden.
Music for Friday night, April 7 consists of entertainers Erica Honore at 6 p.m., Cole Degges at 8 p.m. and headliner, the Bellamy Brothers at 10 p.m.
On Saturday, musical entertainment includes Booth and company at 2 p.m., Stevin March at 4 p.m., Junior Gordon at 6 p.m., Bag of Donuts at 8 p.m. and headliner Easton Corbin at 10 p.m.
The BBQ Cook-Off is IBCA (International Barbecue Cookers Association) sanctioned event.
Admission is $15 for Friday night and $20 for Saturday night or $30 for a weekend pass. Children over 5 years can enter for $5 with all activities included in the price.
Attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets. No pets are allowed unless they are service animals.
Briscoe Park is located at 3201 Hwy 35 in Alvin.
