Kirk Alan Watson, 61, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2017 in Clute, TX. He was born on September 3, 1955 in Pico Rivera, CA to parents Sam and Gertrude “Trudy” Paschke Watson. Kirk worked for Dow Chemical in Lake Jackson as an Instrument Tech for many years until his illnesses grew too bad for him to be able to work safely. Kirk loved woodworking and spending time in his workshop. He would look for usable items he could make and gift to his family and friends. He loved to play Mahjong with his family growing up and shared Mahjong with his family in Texas, Louisiana and Georgia for hours of family fun together. Kirk happily married Christie Hadley in March 14, 2003 and together they built a happy home in Angleton, TX. He was a member of the Holy Comforter Church and enjoyed the early service and events with his church family. Kirk created many treasured memories and will be missed by all that knew him.

Kirk was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Trudy Watson; brother, Ray Watson; and father-in-law, L.O. Hadley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christie Watson of Angleton, TX; mother-in-law, Mildred Hadley of Angleton, TX; daughter, Casandra and Aaron Hadley of Canton, GA; granddaughter, Sheridan Hadley and Marcos Olinyk of Marietta, GA; granddaughter, Lachlan Hadley of Canton, GA; brothers, Sam and Claudia Watson of Rightwood, CA and Bob and Nancy Watson of Rightwood, CA; brother-in-law, William and Melanie Hadley of Cedar Park, TX; niece, Jenna Bodenhamer of Cedar Park, TX; extended Hadley Family: Aunt Jenny Lowery of Gonzales, LA, Judy and Doyle Hoffpauir of Gonzales, LA, Theresa and Todd Wallace of Gonzales, LA, Sheldon and Dixie Lowery of Tomball, TX, and Carl John and Pat Lowery of New Iberia, LA; and many family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute, TX, with Father Travis Smith of the Holy Comforter Church officiating.
