Early voting to begin soon for May 6 election

Early voting begins soon.

Pearland residents can cast their early votes from Monday, April 24 to Tuesday, May 2 at the following times: Monday, April 24 – 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday April 29 and Monday May 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early voting has three locations for voting by personal appearance.

The Pearland East Branch location is at Tom Reid Library at 3522 Liberty Drive in Pearland.

The Pearland West Branch location is at the Public Safety Building at 2555 Cullen Blvd. in Pearland. This is a new location.

The third location is the Shadow Creek Branch location at the Pearland Westside Library at 2803 Business Center Drive #101 in Pearland.

Early voting by mail applications must be received no later than the close of business at 5 p.m. on April 25. Applications should be mailed to Joyce Hudman, County Clerk; 111 E. Locust, Suite 200; Angleton, TX 77515-4654 or emailed to [email protected]

To vote by mail, residents should be 65 years or age or older, have a disability, be confined injail, or be absent from the county on Election Day and absent during the Early Voting period.
