To celebrate another school year ending and summer fun approaching, the City of Friendswood Parks and Rec Department and Keep Friendswood Beautiful is sponsoring School’s Out for Summer Concert in the Park 2017 on May 12 at 7 p.m. in Stevenson Park. The event is free.

The Friday night event will offer live musical entertainment from Vocal Trash, food trucks, face painting, amusement rides, and door prizes.

Those attending are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

The group Vocal Trash has been described as Glee meets Stomp. The green minded ensemble delights audiences globally on a relentless pursuit to bring people together utilizing the universal language of song and dance. Members come from as far away as Seattle and Miami and as close as North Texas and Houston.
