Preorder Family Pack for May, June free concerts in park

Family nights just got easier and more delicious with the Friday Night Family Pack at Concerts in the Park during May and June at Southdown Park from 7 – 9 p.m.

Not only does the preordered pack provide a choice of Adirondack chairs, picnic blankets or camping chairs with side tables, it also has a boxed meal with drinks. The box includes paper goods and utensils.

But there is more. Families buying the pack receive reserved parking and bug spray, sunscreen and hand sanitizer.

Yard games and kids toys are available for check out. These games include a basket full of footballs, frisbees, soccer balls, bean bag toss, ladder ball, horseshoes and jumbo Jenga.

The Friday Night Family Pack must be pre-ordered by the Friday of the concert at 8 a.m. Packages will not be sold onsite. Cost is $9-12 per person. Reservations can be made at the city’s website through parks and recreation or at https://www.pearlandtx.gov/departments/parks-recreation/special-events/concerts-in-the-park/friday-night-family-pack-1746.

The City of Pearland hosts concerts in the park bringing free live music to Pearland outdoors.

Concerts and food options in the food packs include May 26 – Adrians Fault – Blues & Rock with food from Panera Bread; June 2 – Mango Punch – Salsa with food from Papa John’s; June 9 – Bayou Roux – Zydeco with food from Chick Fil-A; June 16 – Clarence Riley – Jazz with food from Jason’s Deli; June 23 – City Nights – Variety with food from Chick Fil-A; and June 30 – Kelly McGuire – Tropical with food from Panera Bread.

Food vendors will also be on site and outside food and drinks, including alcohol in plastic containers are allowed. Pets are welcome but must be leashed. The Splashpad area and the children’s playground will be available during the concerts.

Southdown Park is located at 2150 Countryplace Parkway.
