Vote June 10 for two positions in City

Voting day is June 10 for the runoff election of two positions in Pearland.

Current Mayor Tom Reid is in a run-off election with candidate Quentin Wiltz after neither candidate received 50 percent of the votes in the general election in May.

Also in run-off election are two candidates for City Council Position #7. Six candidates ran for the newly created council position.

Dalia Kasseb and Woody Owens are vying for the position in the runoff election.

Anyone registered to vote in the city limits of Pearland is eligible to vote in the runoff, even those who did not vote in the original election.

Election Day locations open on June 10 for voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. include Drainage District #4 Building, 4805 W Broadway; Pearland Recreation Center, 4141 Bailey Rd; Pearland Westside Library, 2803 Business Center Dr #101; Public Safety Building, 2555 Cullen Blvd; Shadycrest Baptist Church, 3017 Yost Blvd; and Tom Reid Library, 3522 Liberty Dr.
