The Leadership Pearland program is preparing for its 2018 class and is offering emerging leaders in the area a chance to join the education and innovative opportunity.

The schedule of events begins Sept. 19 and carries through each month with activities until class graduation June 21.

Members will learn in 11 sessions about how the City of Pearland works, how the state works, the social services programs, the “long arm of the law,” as well as about Brazoria County, the Nation’s Capital, and the future.

This program is appealing to those who desire to be more knowledgeable about local, county, state, and federal government and organizations.

According to the Chamber, Leadership Pearland is a venue for individuals desiring a higher degree of involvement in community affairs and leadership positions.

Leadership Pearland is a national leadership program sponsored by the Pearland Chamber of Commerce with a mission to identify current successful men and women in the area and expand their involvement in community affairs and future leadership opportunities.

To get involved in the program, contact the Chamber at 281-485-3634 for an application.
