The community is invited to come out and “raise the roof” at BJ’s Blanket Bingo Bash, benefiting the VFW Post 7109 in Pearland. The event will be held Saturday, July 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pearland Town Center.

Proceeds from the event will help the Raise the Roof Initiative which will replace the current roof at the VFW building.

The Blanket Bingo Bash will have bingo games from 8:30 a.m. to noon with a chance to win $1,400. Bingo cards are $10 for 10-pack sets. No children under 10 years of age will be able to play bingo.

The event begins with a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. for $7 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under.

At noon the musical entertainment begins with a free concert by the 4 Barrel Ramblers. Bakfish Brewing Company opens their biergarten at noon with a variety of craft beer and a vendor market also opens.

From 1 – 3 p.m., BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse will feature Brew-ology and Bites Tastings.

Pearland Town Center is located at 11200 Broadway Street in Pearland.
