Football is in the air and along with the game comes the pre-game dinner before each home game at Friendswood High School.
The first pre-game dinner is Sept. 15. The Freshman Class is sponsoring the dinner in the FHS cafeteria beginning at 5 p.m.
Dinner runs through the beginning of the Varsity Mustang football game.
On the date of the next Home Game Sept. 29, Wranglerettes Drill Team is sponsoring the pre-game Chik-fil-A dinner and auction from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m. in the FHS cafeteria.
The event will feature performances from the Wranglerettes and Drill Trainers as well as participants from the Fall Dance Clinic.
A silent auction will take place during the dinner where attendees will have the opportunity to bid on items. Just a few of the items to be auctioned include a 4-gun quail hunt at Raisin L Ranch, a Panama City Vacation, Texan Football tickets, various spa treatments, and a Yeti Tundra 50 cooler.
The Wranglerettes invite everyone to come out to the pregame dinner before they head over to the football game to cheer on the Mustangs and enjoy the halftime show as the Wranglerette Dads perform with their daughters.
Tickets for the Chick-Fil-A dinner can be purchased in advance for $8 from any Wranglerette or Drill Trainer. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.
FHS’ Mighty Mustang Band are sponsoring the Oct. 15 pre-game dinner Oct. 13 in the FHS cafeteria. The meal will be a baked potato with barbecue or a grilled chicken sandwich.
