As Brazoria County Fair Association plans and gets closer to their annual fair, several activities have been postponed due to Hurricane Harvey.

The BCFA Kickoff dinner and dance have been postponed.

Mutton Bustin’ sign ups have been moved to Sept. 16.

Little Mr. and Miss interviews have been postponed until later in the month.

BCFA Cookoff entry deadline has been extended to Sept. 26.

The Livestock entry deadline has been extended to Friday, Sept. 15.

The 2017 Brazoria County Fair has its carnival Oct. 13-21, its rodeo Oct. 13-15 and its concerts Oct. 13, 15, and 21.

Headliners for the Open Air Concerts include Clay Walker with Josh Ward on Oct. 13 and Cody Johnson with Roger Creager Oct. 14. Arena Concert headliners are Aaron Watson and the Bellamy Brothers.

Entertainers in the W.F. Gonzales Pavilion include Dogtown Blues (Oct. 13), Michael Salgado (Oct. 14), DJ (Oct. 15), Shayne Still (Oct. 19), and Eighty Plus (Oct. 20), and Nooney and the Zydeco Floaters (Oct. 21).

The County Fair is held at the BCFA fairgrounds in Angleton at 901 S. Downing Street.
