NOTICE OF 2nd PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION

Notice is hereby given that a second public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, in the Interim Council Chambers, 2nd Floor – Public Safety Building, 2555 Cullen Parkway, Pearland, Texas, at 6:30 p.m. on October 16, 2017, for the purpose of considering annexation into the City limits property generally located in five separate areas:

Area “A” – 914 acres within Brazoria County, located north of MUD 22, east of County Road 564, south of County Road 92, and west of County Road 48;
Area “C” – 17 acres, comprised of three (3) parcels, and is located north of McHard Road, abutting Clear Creek at the northeast corner of nearby Country Place subdivision;
Area “I” – 344 acres located north of Southbelt Industrial Drive, west of Almeda School Road, south of Beltway 8, and east of FM 521;
Area “L” – 1,002 acres located northeast of SH35, between Dixie Farm Road and County Road 129; and

Old Alvin Road Reconstruction/Widening From Town Ditch to McHard Road – Package 3

The Project entails reconstruction and widening of Old Alvin Road from a 2-lane to a 4-lane undivided concrete curb and gutter roadway from Town Ditch Bridge to McHard Road. Project involves approximately 21,700 SY of concrete pavement, installation of approximately 4,100 LF of storm sewers, construction of a detention pond with an approximately 22,500 CY of excavation as well as labor, equipment, material, and incidentals necessary to complete the project.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City of Pearland City Hall Annex at 3523 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas 77581 at 3:30 p.m. on October 5, 2017.

All bids should be submitted through the E-Bid system located on the City’s website at: https://pearland.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. All interested Bidders are advised to register as a “supplier” on the City’s E-Bid System at the above website by clicking on “Supplier Registration” and completing a short registration questionnaire. Electronic Bid Documents, including Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download after registration is approved by City Purchasing office. No plan fees or deposits are required for bid documents obtained through the City’s E-bid System.
