More than 30 classes of cars and trucks will be part of the competition at the Cars and Cowboys Car Show Oct. 28 at the Pearland Town Center.

The Houston Metro Go Texan – Alvin/Pearland Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is gearing up for its annual Cars & Cowboys Car Show. Due to Hurricane Harvey, the date has been rescheduled to Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will be held at the Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway Street, Pearland, in the south parking lot near Dillard’s.

The family-friendly event is free and will offer 30-plus car and truck classes, entertainment, a Kid’s Zone with games and face painting, concessions and a variety of vendor booths.

The HLS&R Committee Cooking Team will be preparing their Mouth Watering Brisket.

A Service Personnel Appreciation Ceremony will honor local Police, Fire and EMS Professionals.

Awards will be given for all car classes and automated and expert judging will be done for efficient and accurate results of the car show.
