Hole in One tournament set for Oct. 27

It’s time to sign up to participate in A Hole in One for the Arts, the Foundation of Creative Leadership’s inaugural golf tournament set for Friday, Oct. 27 at Pearland Golf Club.

The event will feature golf, dinner, dance, a Halloween costume contest and an art show.

Proceeds will support community and school based programs promoting art initiatives through leadership opportunities for both children and adults.

Participation can be as an individual or team player, gold sponsor, volunteer or silent auction or gift card donor.

A lucky golfer might win a golf cart, according to Kelly A. Kronfeld, owner of Art & Kustom Kreations in Pearland who is organizing the event.

At 11 a.m. the silent auction, art show and check in for the golf tournament will begin.

At 12:30 p.m. there will be a shotgun start. Cost for golf is $65 per player and includes golf, dinner, cash prizes and swag bag and golf shirt.

Hole in One wins a 2017 Club Car Golf Cart donated by Doyle Massey.

At 5 p.m. dinner and dance will begin featuring live entertainment by Randy Marshall. The dinner is catered by Fajita Pete’s and both dinner and dance will be $15 per person.

At 6 p.m. the Halloween costume contest will begin. Contestants can be children and adults.

Silent auction will end at 7 p.m.

Foundation for Creative Leadership is a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Pearland Golf Club, formerly known as Country Place Golf Club, is located at 3123 Flower Field Lane in Pearland.
