Kots4Kids to help children get bedding

Kots4Kids is a program that offers a way to donate or receive items for children affected by Hurricane Harvey. Beds for Friendswood children is a program that has aligned itself with Houston Children’s Charity to provide bedding for Friendswood residents that have lost their own due to Hurricane Harvey, whether they need it now or at a future date.

Kots4kids will provide delivery and assembly of a twin sized bed frame, mattress, linens and a pillow for Friendswood children.

To donate, go to Hurricane Harvey Children’s Relief Effort at www.hosutonchildrenscharity.org/donate and add Kots4Kids in the memo filed for the donation to go to Friendswood residents.

Representatives from the organization report that 100 percent of the donation will go toward helping the Friendswood residents.

To receive bedding, send contact info to [email protected] Friendswood residents will receive free delivery and set up.

Kots4Kids is working with FISD and CCISD school districts as well as local volunteers to identify those in need.

If anyone knows someone outside of the Friendswood area, they can apply for assistance from other sources through Houston Children’s Charity and their “A Better Night’s Sleep Program.”

Kots4Kids is a voluntary group of Friendswood citizens.

All donations should go through Houston Children’s Charity, a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization.
