Table reservations are filling quickly for the upcoming fundraiser for the Lighthouse Charity Team annual gala set for Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Pearland KC Hall at 2320 Hatfield Road.
Table reservations are still being taken with tables for $5,000 on the dance floor and $2,800 for off the dance floor. No individual tickets are being sold. Each table seats eight people.
“With Ronnie Millsap as our headliner and the amazing auction items we have this year, it is no wonder the tables are almost all reserved,” Team VP Scott Gordon said. “It promises to be one of our best galas ever.”
Milsap is an American country music singer and pianist. He had six Grammy Awards and 40 No. 1 country hits and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014. Millsap has announced his retirement from entertaining, effective in March.
“Having this last chance in this area to see him perform is such an incredible opportunity,” Gordon said. “For anyone wanting to be there and hear him in person, contact us now to grab a table before they are gone.”
Auction items are also popular at the event.
Several special Remington firearms are in the auction. Remington is celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2018 with commemorative and limited edition firearms for the year. The Lighthouse gala has a 1911 signed and numbered handgun along with a rifle and shotgun that are both commemorative and limited editions. One of the Remington items was donated for the gala by actor Chuck Norris.
Many trips are part of the auction with airline tickets and getaway details. One special trip is a stay at the home of George Mitchell in Mexico.
Astros Jerseys by three top players, tickets to one of Garth Brooks’ performances at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and duck and hog hunts are also favorite items.
