‘Charlotte’s Web’ to offer life lessons

Life lessons are part of the experience at Kids’ Backporch Productions and its current production offers many.

This classic story of “Charlotte’s Web” will be performed March 2-4 at Shadycrest Baptist Church Family Center in Pearland.

Wilbur the pig’s friendship with a big spider will offer laughs, tears and lessons to live by.

Both Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3 have 7 p.m. performances. A 3 p.m. performance will be given on both Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4. Each performance has professional sets, lighting, sound, costumes and music.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 65 and over, and $9 for youth which are children and students.

Shadycrest Baptist Church Family Center is located at 3017 Yost Blvd. in Pearland.

Kids’ Backporch Productions is a theatre workshop for kids to learn their craft while working on full-scale productions. Professional performances conclude the end of every eight-week session. During the summer, KBP has a three week camp.
