The annual Barn Bash hosted by Brazoria County Association for Citizens with Handicaps (BACH) will be Thursday, May 17, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Brazoria County Fairground Auditorium.
All proceeds will benefit BACH and their work to provide special services to children with special needs living in Brazoria County from birth to 20 years old.
Chairman for the Bash is Brazoria County Commissioner David Linder and his goal is to break the fundraising record.
“These kids need our help and I’m going to do everything possible to make the Barn Bash a big success,” Linder said. “We have great people on the Steering Committee and each one of them is working hard to bring in sponsorships, auction items and generous bidders.”
Local celebrity Joe Ripple will emcee while Jarrod Smith and James Patterson as auctioneers. Large live and silent auctions will be part of the night’s events.
Barbeque dinners will be available for $20 each from 5 – 7 p.m. Barbecue cooks are the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office and the Brazoria County Peace Officers’ Association. Dinner will barbecue with potato salad, beans and dessert.
Companies and individuals are needed to become event sponsors, purchase raffle tickets, donate auction items, volunteer their time, or come to shop the auctions.
Purchase tickets at www.bacheci.org.
