Pearland to have hotel, restaurant job fair

A Hotel & Restaurant Job Fair will be Wednesday, June 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Westside Event Center at 2150 Country Place Parkway in Pearland.

The event is hosted by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce.

The event is free. No pre-registration is necessary and job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes to the event.

Hiring managers and decision makers for top Pearland hotels and restaurants will be on hand to talk face to face with interested job applicants. Applicants will have an opportunity to learn more about a variety of entry-level positions.

The hospitality industry plays an important role in the Pearland economy stimulating dollars in the local market.

“We’re happy to feature our local partners at this unique event designed for job applicants to learn more about the offerings we have in Pearland,” Kim Sinistore, executive director of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau said.

Sinistore noted that the city has 11 hotels with name brands and a variety of restaurant and retail businesses.

“The hospitality industry plays an important role in the Pearland economy stimulating dollars in the local market,” she said.
