A large framed red cross made from towel strips was presented at the FISD board meeting Monday, June 11 to Friendswood ISD board members and superintendent by Friendswood Frame and Gallery owner Luis Briones. The cross was significant to the FISD group since it was made and hung in the temporary shelter at Friendswood High School for flood victims during Hurricane Harvey. Briones and the framed cross are joined by Superintendent Thad Roher and Board members David Montz, DDS; Rebecca Hillenburg Ed.D.; Matt Robinson, M.D.; Robert McCabe; Tony Hopkins; Laura Seifert and Ralph Hobratschk.
